Powder Coating

BLUETEE provides coatings and process guidance for powder coating on chrome components such as wheels, trim, handles, and hardware. Successful results depend on meticulous surface preparation to overcome chrome’s low surface energy: thorough degreasing and outgassing, mechanical profiling (media blast or sanding) to create key, and the use of compatible conversion/adhesion layers or primers as needed. Once prepared, BLUETEE powders cure to a tough, uniform film that resists chips, abrasion, and corrosion while maintaining color consistency and gloss control. Available in matte to high-gloss solids, metallics, and textures, our finishes help fabricators and refinishers deliver long-lasting performance on chrome-plated substrates.
