Powder Coating

BLUETEE offers practical guidance and materials to repair powder coating on finished parts. Effective touch-ups start with careful prep: degrease, lightly sand or feather edges, and remove loose film. For minor scratches and chips, use color-matched touch-up powder (heat-fused with an infrared lamp or heat gun) or compatible liquid touch-up paint for thin repairs and edges. Mask surrounding areas to control film build, apply thin coats, and cure per schedule to regain adhesion, hardness, and corrosion protection. For larger failures or underfilm rust, full strip and recoat is recommended to restore long-term performance. BLUETEE supports exact color and gloss matching across matte, gloss, metallic, and textured finishes to keep repaired parts visually consistent with production runs.
