Powder Coating

Powder coating pinholes are tiny surface voids that appear after curing, often caused by trapped air, moisture, surface contamination, outgassing of substrates (e.g., cast aluminum/porous steel), excessive film build, or curing issues. BLUETEE helps minimize pinholes with clean, low-moisture powders, proper pretreatment (degrease, rinse, phosphate/zirconium), controlled film thickness, adequate flash-off, and correct cure schedules. For porous metals, use outgas-forgiving (OGF) formulations and pre-bake to release entrapped gases. With the right powder and process control, BLUETEE finishes deliver smooth, defect-free surfaces with long-term durability indoors and outdoors.
