Powder Coating

Understanding the difference between powder coating and epoxy coating helps you choose the right protection for metal parts. “Epoxy coating” usually refers to liquid epoxy paints or epoxy-based systems that cure to a very hard, chemical-resistant film, but can be sensitive to UV and may chalk outdoors. Powder coating is a dry, electrostatically applied powder that is baked onto the part, forming a uniform, thick and highly durable film with excellent impact resistance and good edge coverage.
